Updating With a Replacement Bow Window

Bay Windows

I’m very lucky to be able to work from home as a blogger and social media consultant and feel blessed to have a five second commute. On the other hand, that means I don’t get out very much except to drop the kids off at school and pick them back up. My house has a formal dining room that I’ve turned into my office and I spend a great deal of my time there.

Since I spend so much of my time in the home office I’d really like for it to be as comfortable as possible and while I’m planning to remodel the kitchen and bathroom sometime soon (code for eventually!), I’d really like to also replace the front windows with either a bay or bow window. I’ve been checking out pictures of windows everywhere like at this bay windows Boston website so I can get ideas about how I’d like for it to look.

A bay window like the one above would add more than just new style to the front of the house, it would also bring lots of extra light into my office and increase the view of the front yard which is surrounded by fruit, oak and pine trees. I’m getting super excited about the idea that I could upgrade my existing windows without a lot of hassle and make my favorite room in the house even more comfortable. Of course the possibilities are endless and I’m having lots of fun checking out all the different options.
