Chicken & Avocado Taco Salad Boats and PayPal Cash Giveaway

With five young kids it’s often difficult to please everybody at the same time when it comes to dinner, but we all agree on tacos! They’re so easy to prepare and the kids enjoy them so much that we have taco night a couple times a month. This week I decided to do something a little different and put a spin on our usual taco night with these delicious Chicken & Avocado Taco Salad Boats and I’m thrilled to report that the kids all ate them up as well. It’s so nice to find a meal that is healthy, tasty and that everyone will eat!

Although it may look difficult it’s actually pretty easy to work with avocados. First take a sharp knife and slice all the way around the avocado, split it open and remove the pit. Next you can either go ahead and cut it into slices inside the skin, being careful not to pierce the outer skin, then use a spoon to separate the meaty part from the skin, or use the spoon and separate it first then cut into slices after removing the skin.

Old El Paso Twist on Tacos Giveaway

Old El Paso Twist on Tacos

We have taco night at our house several times a month – the kids love being able to build their own tacos and I love how easy it is to get a dinner together that I know everyone will eat.

Now Old El Paso® is inviting us to spice up taco night with a new twist on tacos – just imagine how many different ways you can make them to add a bit of variety to your taco night. Try adding unique toppings, having tacos for different occasions or find creative ways to prepare the main ingredients.

For example, you could use ground turkey instead of beef, try fish filets or fish sticks as the main ingredient, or include topping choices like jalopenos or bacon.  How would you spice up your taco with Old El Paso®? I’d love to hear about how you add a twist to your tacos!

Old El Paso Prize Package & Walmart Gift Card Giveaway

Old El Paso Prize Package

We have taco night pretty often at our house and the kids always love it because they can build their own tacos and fix them up however they like. It can be a pretty messy process but everybody loves it and it’s not always easy to prepare a meal that all five kids can agree on so I don’t mind the mess. Leave it to Old El Paso to come up with a fun solution!
