Sam’s Club Price List for Comparison Updated

When our quadruplets were born we bought all of our diapers at Sam’s Club and we went through so many diapers and wipes, and so much formula that we were forever comparing  the prices per on those items.  Generally speaking you can get much better deals on most grocery and household items by matching sales with coupons at grocery and drug stores than you can at Sam’s where you have to pay for an annual membership and they don’t take coupons, unless you need to buy stuff in bulk (like we did with the diapers 😉 ) or for “need it now” stuff when you don’t have time to do the matchups.

I’m getting ready for my second round of freezer cooking so I bought 29.84 lbs of chicken today at Sam’s Club for $45.52, or an average of $1.53/lb, and while I was at it I updated the Sam’s Club price list and added a few more things to the list.  I like to carry an updated list with me in my Coupon Clutch when grocery shopping so I’ll know at a glance whether I’m getting a deal or not!  Just click here to see the current prices for common items at Sam’s Club (as listed at the Pensacola, Florida store on 6/29/10).  I’ll keep the list updated and will add more items to the list with each trip.

  1. Great! I am tempted to cancel, because coupons don’t seem to make a dent in the Sam’s bill. This helps me know why I should keep it.
