My 9/7 Publix Trip – $104.82 for $28.12 or 73% Off

My store never had any of the 5″ Scotch scissors in stock when they were on BOGO a month ago so I got a raincheck and I’ve been carrying my $1 off coupons around this whole time.  Well my raincheck expires this week and I was SO happy to see two pair of the scissors today so I nabbed them!  I’m really looking forward to having the honey gold potatoes for supper tonight, but I just couldn’t wait on the almond danish so I have to admit to having a piece in between taking the picture and doing this post 😉  Today I bought $104.82 worth of groceries for $28.12, or 73% off after coupons and the $20 RR I used to pay the bill.  Here are the deals:

  1. Love this shop!! Hubby and I went to Kroger every day this week for Pepsi (he lives by Pepsi Max). They had Buy 4, Get 2 which made them $0.86 each. We had $0.55/1 coupons so we were getting 6 2L Pepsi Max for $2.01!!! Last night, they didn’t have Max so I got Diet Cherry Pepsi and Hubby got 4 12pks (on sale 4/$11).

We used the coupons (which were also $0.55 off 12pks), 6 2L Pepsi, 4 12pk Pepsi Max, a little $0.33 drink for The Boy and a newspaper…and spent $12.40!!!

  2. RR? Publix? Confused

  3. Hi Sindy! My Publix takes Walgreens Register Rewards as if they are cash because they’re actually manufacturer coupons good for $X off your next purchase. The store I go to will take more than one per transaction, but some other stores will only accept one per order. Since they’re not actually Walgreens store coupons it doesn’t matter that my store doesn’t consider Walgreens a competitor. Check in at your customer service desk to see if your store accepts them too!
