My 7/6 Publix Trip – $43.47 for $17.78 or 59% Off

There wasn’t a lot that was super exciting for me on sale this week, but the kids will be hapy with the cereal and fruit snacks, and I’m really craving broccoli beef so guess what we’re having for supper!    I’m also looking forward to trying the new Natureluxe lip gloss from CoverGirl – they had a ton of colors to choose from and they are SPF 15, which is especially great considering all the time I’ve been spending outside with the kids.  Here are the deals:

  1. At least you found something. I don’t even have a compelling reason to go to Publix today. 😉

  2. I probably shouldn’t have even wasted my time this week, but summer camp is over for the kids and they’re all home so I took the opportunity to head out for some quiet time 🙂

  3. Very nice! I am surprised I do not see any Luigi ice’s there lol I have all those coupons ready to grab some tomorrow… kids love those things! If you need extra Q’s let me know.. I have the $1/1 Luigi Ice 😉

  4. You’re the sweetest Olenka! I KNEW i was forgetting something and I even have those coupons! The really bad news is that I forgot my coupon organizer in the store too – I called and they’re going to hold it for me until next week, but I just don’t feel right without it!

  5. Nice Trip ! Can’t wait till tomorrow when my sale starts !!

  6. Thanks Ebony! Funniest thing is that the kids asked for more broccoli after supper, they couldn’t have cared less about the fruit snacks 🙂

  7. Well thats a good thing I love broccoli also so is it any kind of Welch’s Fruit Snacks or is it only the Welch’s Fruit ‘n Yogurt Snacks

  8. They had a whole variety out in the front bins, including the strawberry yogurt snacks – they looked good but I wasn’t sure the kids would eat them 🙁 I got the regular kind instead.

  9. I haven’t really done a big coupon shopping trip in almost 3 months and I’m starting to run out of items. It seems that this summer the coupons all focus on junk food for kids. I really wish someone would issue coupons for fresh veggies like Broccoli. I live in NC and we don’t have a Publix near us. Our big store is Harris Teeter with their everyday double coupons and the occasional double, double coupons or the ever infrequent triple coupon weeks. That’s when I find I save the most.
I wonder as mom’s if we could pressure the manufactures and chain stores to have healthier coupons for our families to eat. It would be kind of like what Jamie Oliver has done for the healthy meals being served in public schools.
