My 6/21 Walgreens Trip – $113.07 for $13.47 or 88% Off

I had a terrific $2.53 money maker planned for the deal where you buy $25 in Gillette/Old Spice products and get $10 RR but my store was completely out of the Gillette Odor Shield body wash (it’s not included in the deal but I needed it to make my Qs work) AND the Old Spice Fresh so I couldn’t swing it but I’ll try again in a different county on Wednesday and see what happens 🙂  In the meanwhile, I still think I did pretty good this week with a $113.07 purchase for only $13.47 or 88% off after earning $14.50 RR.  Here are the deals:

  1. Great job! I love RRs! But I loved them even more when I could use more than ONE at Fairhope Publix!! I have just pretty much limited myself to their good BOGO with coupon deals…..and study the Winn Dixie ad a little more closely. (Fairhope store is about a 30 minute drive; WD about 3 minutes 🙂

  2. I know – I’m missing those days terribly, and like you I’m watching the Winn Dixie ads more closely and have started to post them here since I pass three Winn Dixies on my way to the F’hope Publix. Would have loved to get the $10 RR today but thankfully I saved a Neutrogena one from last week 😉 Now I’m just stashing the highest RRs to use at Publix.

  3. Ana Maria S. says

I need to find out if any of my grocery stores accept RR because my favorite usually coupon friendly Wags has been nothing but problems & headaches lately for me and I have $7.50 in RR from the contact solution this week…I am willing to go to one other “new” store to find out if it’s the same way or if it surprises me and everything goes smoothly with coupons & RR’s. If it doesn’t work I may just have to give up on Wags and use CVS exclusively. Thanks for all you do; I love seeing the pics of all your shopping trips 🙂

  4. Hey Ana Maria! Don’t give up – I love Wags, they have some of the best deals around, but there is a ‘bad’ store near me too. I’ve gone in a few times but refuse to go there anymore because they apparently have a problem with couponers. I’m hoping you’ll have much better luck at a different store 🙂 If not, do you have any Publix stores near you? If so, they should take your RR if Wags is close enough to be considered a competitor. Please keep us informed!
