My 12/8 Publix Trip – $87.87 for $15.96 or 82% Off

This is a sad day for me – my three year old computer gave up the ghost last night and I’ve had to run all over town this morning to replace it.  Not that I’ll miss the old hunka junk, but I already miss the $450 spent on a new one.    I apologize for being late with my post on yesterday’s Publix trip but I couldn’t do much with all the blue screening.  I am happy to report that I spent $15.96 yesterday to buy $87.87 worth of groceries, or 82% off.  Here are the deals:

Update: I forgot to point out that there is a great deal this week on Welch’s grape juice (the lite variety is the best price after q) but my store was out so I got a raincheck – be sure to grab yours if needed.

  1. Oh I was wondering what happened. I depend on your Wednesday post for Publix to see if I need to run back to get something before the sale changes in Georgia on Thursday. I went to Publix blindly and spent $25 dollars and used no coupons trying to make a quick run. Never again. Thanks for all you do. Sorry about the computer, but it happens to the best of us.

  2. I’m so sorry Shebella – I spent all day yesterday thinking I’d be back online with it any minute. Hated not getting it up on schedule! Glad to know you missed me though 😉

  3. I was wondering what was happening and hoping it wasn’t anything bad. 🙂
I know that religiously, when I sit at the computer on my lunch break, (I am a teacher) on Wednesdays, you always bring a smile to my face with your Publix trip. I use yours to kind of prepare my since my sale doesn’t start until Thursday.
I’m glad everything is ok and you have a new computer that will probably make things easier for you.
Thanks for all you do! 🙂

  4. Lynette you sound a lot like me. That is my Wednesday plan as well. I love to see the bargains Denise finds for us throughout the day. My students know how involved I am. They tell please don’t mention coupons anymore. I am using them as a lesson for teaching my students how to save once they begin to buy things for themselves. Once again a great respect for Denise and all she does to keep us enjoying great deals and eating good food less that shelf price.

  5. Sorry about the computer… nice job shopping, though!

Thanks for visiting Wednesday Weekly Shopping at Frugal Follies! I truly appreciate it!
