Final Numbers for November – Saved $909.99

This was not a record savings month, but I think it’s pretty terrific considering that we paid less than $300 for the whole month!  We spent a total of $299.17 to purchase $1,209.16 worth of groceries, toiletries and household items.  Although we put an extra turkey and some packages of leftover meat from Thanksgiving in the freezer, it just isn’t as stocked as I’d like it to be so hopefully we’ll be able to squeeze in a freezer cooking day (or two) in December to fill it back up.  According to the spreadsheet we’ve spent $3,584.53 so far this year and have saved $10,393.20.  That’s an average of $326 per month for our family of seven, or an amazing $47 per person!

  1. Awesome savings! I can’t believe it – under $300!

  2. You did an awesome job! I went over my budget this month with a lot of extra Thanksgiving items. I spent $331 and saved $945 and that is for a family of two!

  3. Thank you Missy! Your #s are fabulous too 🙂 We actually used to spend about $350/week so I’m THRILLED!

  4. I just found your site thru Meal Plan Monday. I really like your spreadsheet. Do you write down the shelf price while in the store? I am new to couponing and would love to keep track like this, just don’t know where to start.
