It’s that time of year – during the holiday season there seem to be lots of parties and opportunities for entertaining, and it’s a great time to try out some new cocktail ideas. Last year some of my girlfriends and I decided to change our usual annual Christmas cookie exchange party into a cocktail recipe exchange party and it has now become a new tradition. It’s lots of fun to have everyone bring the ingredients for their own favorite cocktail then we sample each others concoctions and exchange recipes.
This year I’m making this Twisted Raspberry Rum & Coke, it’s a fabulous twist on a classic cocktail and I can’t wait to share it with my friends.
- 4 ounces Coke
- 2 ounces white rum
- 6 fresh raspberries
- ice cubes
- Sprig of fresh mint (optional)
- In a glass add ice cubes
- Pour in Coke
- Add rum and raspberries.
- Stir. Garnish with mint if desired.
- Serve.
