$10 Gift Card for New Sam’s Club Members

If you start a new Sam’s Club membership before November 24th you’ll get a $10 gift card that is good for $10 off at their Day After Thanksgiving event.  It’s a great way to save even more on their already low prices!  Check out our Sam’s Club price comparison chart here to see if a membership would pay off for you.

Try Sam’s Club for Free August 6th, 7th & 8th!

Check out Sam’s Club shopping for free – no membership needed to shop this August 6th, 7th and 8th!  We have a Sam’s Club membership and use it quite a bit, but there are some things that I would never buy there, like paper products, toothpaste and deodorant (because I can get them cheap or free elsewhere) but you can get awesome deals on other things at Sam’s like fresh produce, meat, electronics, name brand clothing and of course office supplies.  Visit our Sam’s Club Price List here to check how their prices compare with your usual stores, then head into the store this weekend to grab some deals!

New Sam’s Club Members Get $20 Gift Card

Now through August 1st you can get a $20 gift card from Sam’s Club when you sign up as a new member, just for liking them on Facebook!  Membership fees start at $35 for a standard membership so with this deal it would only cost you $15 for the first year.  Check out our Sam’s Club price list and compare it with what you’re paying for the same items at your grocery store.  There are some things that I would never buy at Sam’s, like toilet paper, deodorant and toothpaste because I can get them cheap (or free!) elsewhere, but I do shop at Sam’s twice a month to buy meat for our freezer cooking days and our membership really pays off for us.  If you’ve been thinking about trying out a membership to see how it works for you, then this is a great opportunity!

Sam’s Club Price List for Comparison Updated

When our quadruplets were born we bought all of our diapers at Sam’s Club and we went through so many diapers and wipes, and so much formula that we were forever comparing  the prices per on those items.  Generally speaking you can get much better deals on most grocery and household items by matching sales with coupons at grocery and drug stores than you can at Sam’s where you have to pay for an annual membership and they don’t take coupons, unless you need to buy stuff in bulk (like we did with the diapers 😉 ) or for “need it now” stuff when you don’t have time to do the matchups.

I’m getting ready for my second round of freezer cooking so I bought 29.84 lbs of chicken today at Sam’s Club for $45.52, or an average of $1.53/lb, and while I was at it I updated the Sam’s Club price list and added a few more things to the list.  I like to carry an updated list with me in my Coupon Clutch when grocery shopping so I’ll know at a glance whether I’m getting a deal or not!  Just click here to see the current prices for common items at Sam’s Club (as listed at the Pensacola, Florida store on 6/29/10).  I’ll keep the list updated and will add more items to the list with each trip.

Sam’s Club Price List For Comparison

When our quadruplets were born we bought all of our diapers at Sam’s Club and boy did they get a bunch of our money!  We went through so many diapers and wipes, and so much formula that we were forever comparing  the prices per on those items.  Generally speaking you can get much better deals on most grocery and household items by matching sales with coupons at grocery and drug stores than you can at Sam’s where you have to pay for a membership and they don’t take coupons, unless you need to buy stuff in bulk (like we did with the diapers 😉 ) or for “need it now” stuff when you don’t have time to do the matchups.

Well I’m planning to try my hand at freezer cooking – I’m going to start out by cooking 14 meals twice a month and then work my way up to once a month cooking and I realized that I won’t be able to cherry pick the meat sales when I’m doing the cooking all at once so I decided to create this price list for comparison purposes.  I plan to print the list and stick it in my Coupon Clutch to carry with me so I’ll know at a glance whether I’m getting a deal or not and I wanted to share the list with all of you!  Just click here to see the current prices for common items at Sam’s Club (as listed at the Daphne, Alabama store).  I’ll keep the list updated and will add more items to the list with each trip.
