Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls & PayPal Cash Giveaway

Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls

Last fall I made sausage cheese balls for our office holiday luncheon and they turned out very dry. By the time I got them to the office they seemed like little hockey pucks and I was pretty disappointed. I haven’t made any since then but I saw this Pillsbury recipe for Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls and figured I’d give them a try.

Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls

With just a few simple ingredients they were pretty easy to throw together. Instead of calling for flour like my previous unsuccessful attempt, these sausage cheese balls use crescent rolls and boy did they make a HUGE difference. I was very impressed with how moist and delicious these sausage crescent cheese balls turned out and I’m looking forward to making them again during the holidays for some quick and tasty appetizers.

Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls

At first I wasn’t sure how to incorporate the crescent roll dough into the classic sausage cheese ball recipe, but the instructions at the Pillsbury recipe page showed how easy it was to do. Just cut the dough into small squares with a pizza cutter and fold them into the sausage and cheese mixture. They add a great flavor and help keep the balls super moist.

You’ll find lots of great sales at Winn Dixie on Pillsbury Refrigerated Baked Goods products during this holiday baking season and there’s even a $1/3 Pillsbury Refrigerated Baked Goods products coupon that you can print for more savings!

Chicken & Avocado Taco Salad Boats and PayPal Cash Giveaway

taco_salad_boat2

With five young kids it’s often difficult to please everybody at the same time when it comes to dinner, but we all agree on tacos! They’re so easy to prepare and the kids enjoy them so much that we have taco night a couple times a month. This week I decided to do something a little different and put a spin on our usual taco night with these delicious Chicken & Avocado Taco Salad Boats and I’m thrilled to report that the kids all ate them up as well. It’s so nice to find a meal that is healthy, tasty and that everyone will eat!

Although it may look difficult it’s actually pretty easy to work with avocados. First take a sharp knife and slice all the way around the avocado, split it open and remove the pit. Next you can either go ahead and cut it into slices inside the skin, being careful not to pierce the outer skin, then use a spoon to separate the meaty part from the skin, or use the spoon and separate it first then cut into slices after removing the skin.

Yoplait Greek 100 Whips

My kids get two meals a day plus a snack at school but they always seem to be “starving” by the time they get home so I like to have quick and healthy snacks ready for them when they get home. The kids really loved these fruit and yogurt wraps that I made with Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! and they’ve become a new favorite afternoon snack at our house.

We’re huge yogurt fans at our house but I have to be honest – the last time I brought home Greek yogurt for the kids they all turned their noses up at it and refused to eat more than a bite. Well I am very happy to report that the new Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! are a huge hit with the kiddos. I brought home the blueberry and strawberry flavors for them to try and they are super light, creamy and delicious. We will definitely be trying some of the other flavors like lemon meringue, strawberry cheesecake and vanilla cupcake. Grab your coupon for a FREE Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! yogurt from Publix here!
