#SpreadCheer with Sugar Surprise Cookies & PayPal Cash Giveaway

Sugar Surprise Cookies

These Sugar Surprise Cookies are one of my all time favorite cookies to make and to share. Each cookie has an Andes mint hidden inside and while they’re baking the flavor of the mint infuses throughout the entire cookie for a wonderful taste sensation. You don’t even have to ice these cookies but the kids were so thrilled to make these for our neighbors and insisted on the icing and sprinkles.

We are so fortunate to have many wonderful neighbors! Some of our neighbors have taken the kids out fishing on their boat, another gentleman insists on taking our garbage cans to the street on trash day during his daily walk, and we have neighbors who have helped with repairs and given us hand me down toys. I’m sure that we don’t tell them often enough how much we appreciate them so what better time than during the holiday season to help spread some cheer! We used these adorable free printable gift tags from Betty Crocker to decorate our goody bags then the kids had a blast delivering them to our neighbors.  While you’re at the Betty Crocker Spread Cheer page be sure to check out all the other free printables, coloring pages and grab some coupons.

Scrumptious Butter Pecan Pound Cake Recipe

Butter Pecan Pound Cake

When it starts getting cool outside I really get into the mood to do some baking! While the holidays are great inspiration, it’s never to early to bake up one of these Butter Pecan Pound cakes. The cake itself is rich and moist and the addition of the pecans really sets off the flavor, as does the orange juice in the glaze. Being from the south I absolutely love pecan recipes this butter pecan cake is divine.

Fancy enough for entertaining, my family loves this butter pecan pound cake for any occasion, like days that end with Y.  Plus momma loves any excuse to use my favorite KitchenAid stand mixer!

“Orange Julius” Style Smoothies with TruMoo Orange sCream Milk

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TruMoo for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Orange Julius Style Smoothies with TruMoo

My nine year old quadruplets were born in October so it seems like every year we have Halloween themed parties for them and somehow they end up celebrating all month long! Way back when I was in middle and high school I used to love to hang out at the mall and my friends and I would always enjoy sipping on a cold Orange Julius. Well the restaurant has been gone for years but now the kids and I really enjoy making our own version of an Orange Julius at home and when I saw the new limited edition TruMoo Orange sCream milk I knew it was time to make some again in honor of the kids' Halloween themed birthday month!

Orange Julius Style Smoothies with TruMoo Orange Milk

With just a few simple ingredients you can mix up your own Orange Julius in a couple of minutes. To make this ice cold, refreshing smoothie first mix up the following in a blender – one cup of TruMoo Orange sCream flavored milk, 6 ounces of orange juice concentrate, 1/4 cup sugar and one teaspoon of vanilla. Once that is well blended add ten ice cubes, one at a time, until the mixture is the appropriate consistency and serve.

TruMoo Orange sCream Flavored Milk

You can find the new limited edition TruMoo Orange sCream flavored milk right next to their delicious chocolate milk in the dairy case at your favorite grocery store. You can also visit their website for more delicious TruMoo Halloween recipes or to see where you can find their products near you, and be sure to check them out on Facebook and Pinterest as well.

Get Platinum Points with Crystal Light for Miranda Lambert Rewards

Disclosure – I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central for CRYSTAL LIGHT. I received a gift card to purchase CRYSTAL LIGHT products to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Randarita Cocktail with Crystal Light

My kids and I are all hooked on CRYSTAL LIGHT – I always keep some of the individual packets in my desk at work to flavor my water throughout the day and the kids all have their favorite flavors. I make pitchers of Cherry Pomegranate CRYSTAL LIGHT for them at the house and I really like the Lemonade and the Raspberry Lemonade flavors for work. I enjoy knowing that I’m not serving the kids sugary drinks and that they’re only five calories per serving. Even better though was learning about the Randarita cocktail – you pour a shot of vodka over ice, add Raspberry Lemonade flavored CRYSTAL LIGHT and a splash of lemon lime soda. OMG delicious!!

Crystal Light Randarita

The fabulous Randarita cocktail was created by Miranda Lambert who says she drinks one during each concert. Being such a huge fan of her music I was thrilled to learn about the Platinum Points Program where you can earn points for buying CRYSTAL LIGHT products that you can redeem for rewards like Miranda Lambert music downloads, CDs, mugs, t-shirts and even an autographed guitar.

Crystal Light Randarita

I used the promo code “mirandaic” for 30 Platinum Points when I signed up for the program using my Facebook account, and then I earned 300 more points for buying these three packages at Walmart, 100 points for each package. Once you sign up you can also earn 10 points for each friend that you refer to the program.

It’s super easy to sign up and earn points, all you have to do is register at the Earn Platinum Points site, shop for CRYSTAL LIGHT products at Walmart, snap a photo of your receipt with your smartphone and choose from a variety of Miranda Lambert rewards! I’m personally saving up my points for either a Miranda Lambert Platinum Tumbler for 1000 points or a Platinum Rhinestone T-shirt for 1200 points, or hopefully both.
