Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls & PayPal Cash Giveaway

Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls

Last fall I made sausage cheese balls for our office holiday luncheon and they turned out very dry. By the time I got them to the office they seemed like little hockey pucks and I was pretty disappointed. I haven’t made any since then but I saw this Pillsbury recipe for Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls and figured I’d give them a try.

Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls

With just a few simple ingredients they were pretty easy to throw together. Instead of calling for flour like my previous unsuccessful attempt, these sausage cheese balls use crescent rolls and boy did they make a HUGE difference. I was very impressed with how moist and delicious these sausage crescent cheese balls turned out and I’m looking forward to making them again during the holidays for some quick and tasty appetizers.

Sausage Crescent Cheese Balls

At first I wasn’t sure how to incorporate the crescent roll dough into the classic sausage cheese ball recipe, but the instructions at the Pillsbury recipe page showed how easy it was to do. Just cut the dough into small squares with a pizza cutter and fold them into the sausage and cheese mixture. They add a great flavor and help keep the balls super moist.

Giveaway: Fudge Brownie Gift Pkg Includes $25 Gift Card

So what do you do when your kid comes home and says he needs a couple dozen brownies for school the next day, or you just realized it’s your dad’s birthday on the way to pick up your kids from his house? (sorry dad!) One super simple idea is to swing into Sam’s Club and pick up some pre-made brownies to decorate yourself.

Pillsbury Chocolate Chunk Fudge Brownies are a blend of 3 types of cocoas with real chocolate syrup and milk chocolate chunks to make a delicious fudgy brownie – they´re the perfect solution when you´re pressed for time. You can add personal flair to these already-baked brownies with your own decorations, frosting, caramel or powdered sugar! I must say, my decorating job didn’t turn out too great, but the brownies tasted awesome anyway!  The best part (next to the oodles of chocolate chunks) was that it was quick and easy with very little cleanup.

One lucky reader is going to win a Pillsbury Chocolate Chunk Fudge Brownie gift pack that includes a $25 Sam´s Club gift card to use to purchase the brownies, Betty Crocker frosting, and a large container for transporting the brownies or anything else you’d like.
