Between buying several turkeys and the fixings for Thanksgiving dinner, and buying lots of school gifts and stocking stuffers this month, we bought more in November than any other month so far this year!  Considering that, I’m super happy that we still came in at $75 below our monthly budget of $375! Final Numbers for November – Saved $909.99

This was not a record savings month, but I think it’s pretty terrific considering that we paid less than $300 for the whole month!  We spent a total of $299.17 to purchase $1,209.16 worth of groceries, toiletries and household items.  Although we put an extra turkey and some packages of leftover meat from Thanksgiving in the freezer, it just isn’t as stocked as I’d like it to be so hopefully we’ll be able to squeeze in a freezer cooking day (or two) in December to fill it back up.  According to the spreadsheet we’ve spent $3,584.53 so far this year and have saved $10,393.20.  That’s an average of $326 per month for our family of seven, or an amazing $47 per person!
