If you’re looking for a way to use up some extra limes, a fun way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, or just want to surprise your family with a tasty treat then these Margarita Lime Cookies are for you. The combination of lime with a sugar sprinkle topping makes these cookies refreshingly delicious – be sure to whip up a bunch because they’ll disappear fast!
Hubby and I head out every Friday evening for a date night dinner out and we often enjoy a yummy meal and cocktail at Chili’s! Now that it’s really warming up outside, and Cinco de Mayo is almost here, Chili’s is celebrating with a brand new drink called the CoronaRita. It’s made with Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila and Corona – kinda like buying your Margarita a beer!
I love the terrific variety of foods on Chili’s menu because there is something for everyone and it’s nice to be able to make everybody happy. I typically get the Chicken Crispers since they’re my favorite (I love the batter breading – SO good!) while hubby tends to pick Quesadillas, Fajitas or one of their delicious salads.
Chili’s currently has a $20 Dinner for Two special menu going on where you can share an appetizer and get two full size entrees from the list for only $20. That is one heckuva good deal and I’m thrilled that many of our favorites are on the list!
If you can make it over in time for lunch you could also take advantage of their terrific lunch specials – they have lunch combo specials for $6, $7 and $8. Start with a salad or your choice of soups (my fave is the Chicken Enchilada Soup) then finish the job with your choice of a variety of sandwich, burger and quesadilla options.
Whether your next visit is for date night, a graduation celebration, girl’s night out or for Cinco de Mayo, don’t forget to check out the new CoronaRita at Chili’s. Let us know what is your favorite thing at Chili’s or what you’d like to have with the new CoronaRita!
