Holidays like Valentine’s Day can be difficult if you’re on a budget. There’s so much pressure to spend money on your clothes, gifts, and date activities. But Valentine’s Day is supposed to be about love, not about paying a small fortune. Luckily you don’t have to spend a lot to have a nice Valentine’s Day! If you and your loved one want to have a nice Valentine’s without spending tons of money, take a look at these 10 Frugal Valentine’s Day Date Ideas!
Hey guys! I’m participating in a weekly vlog prompt with my friend Toni from JustStopScreaming.com and several of my other blogging friends, and this week we’ve been asked to talk about the favorite date that we can remember. Well, since I’m currently going through a divorce after 12 years of marriage, I honestly can’t remember a “favorite date” to tell you about so I’m talking about future dates instead.
Since I hope to start dating again sometime after this current mess is over, I’d love to hear about your ideas for a favorite date night. Thanks for watching, please come back next when I’ll be sharing my favorite quote.
We’re such geeks and homebodies around here that it seems like we don’t get out much except to chauffeur the kids around, so I hope you’ll forgive me for being all excited about our plans to head for an early dinner and a trip to the craft store 🙂 Since we don’t get out without the kids very much, we really like to plan a Friday night meal out each week where we can sit down, slow down and actually have an adult conversation (sometimes we can even go without talking about the kids). We work really hard at keeping the budget down in other areas so that we’re able to afford a nice meal out once a week, but of course I never like to pay full price for anything so each week I look for specials or coupons available at our favorite places and pick the one that’s the best fit. This week it’s T.G.I. Friday’s since we haven’t been in a while and they actually have two great coupons out to choose from.
$5 Off $15 or More at T.G.I. Friday’s thru 2/21
Then after dinner we’re going to go wild at the craft store, with this 20% off your entire purchase at Michael’s coupon, and get all the stuff the kids need for a Mardi Gras float project they’re doing for school. Don’t laugh, after a long, cold week stuck in the house this sounds like a hot date to me 😉
