This has already been a Murphy’s Law kinda week so I’m not totally surprised that I got the spaghetti sauce on my list but completely forgot the spaghetti. Oh well, at least I got lots of snack foods, sigh 😐 I was happy to see another gas card deal before Christmas since the one I got today is going in my 16 year old son’s stocking. I’ve been having a real problem finding Diet 7Up lately so I went ahead and grabbed the four they had while on sale. I think my oldest son may turn into a Pizza Lunchable someday soon, but in the meanwhile I’m happy to have grabbed another great deal on them! Normally I would never buy such small bags of cat food, but between the coupon and the BOGO it was too good a deal to pass. I’m even more thrilled with the fabulous deal on the Magnum tubs though because they are AMAZING! I’ve already tried to hide them but have a feeling the kids will sniff them out somehow. Well I got super deals at Publix today on toothpaste, laundry detergent, egg noodles and pizza crusts! The kids are having a hurricane day off school tomorrow for Hurricane Zeta so it looks like a pizza day to me – even if the power goes out we can cook these up on the grill. While I didn’t have a huge savings this trip I am thrilled to have found the last three 12-packs of Diet 7UP anywhere near me! My 16 year old son who entertains himself by reading articles on the stock market informed me that the lack of diet drinks on the shelves is due to a shortage of aluminum to make the cans and sweeteners that are imported and in low supply due to Covid shipping issues. Anyway, I’ll be hoarding these and keeping an eye out for more! Today at Publix I bought $72.18 worth of groceries for $40.23, or 44% off after coupon. Here are the deals:
