My 6/6 Walgreens Trip – $73.37 for $8.24 or 89% Off

I only had time to hit one Walgreens today and they were out of the fish oil supplements and a few other things that were on my list.  I'll try again at a different store on my way to Publix this week since I really hate to miss out on those, but I still think I did pretty good today.  I bought $73.37 worth of goodies for $8.24, or 89% off.  Here are the deals:

  1. Ah…that Proglide razor… That is one of the first items I attempted in my couponing journey!! I had been gathering up coupons and looking up deals. My hubby is always wanting a new razor or something (he hates buying the refills because the razor is always cheaper…men!!). So, we stopped for a quick something or other at Wags and I said, “let’s coupon!!” spontaneously…that was my first mistake!! We had the 3 year old with us…second mistake!! Well, I got a few things and let’s just say it really looked like I was a first timer…too many items for coupons and no filler…everything unorganized…ugh!! So we walked out with the items and a few RRs…and the cashier stopped me to give me some papers I left on the counter…I FORGOT TO USE THE $4 COUPON!!! UGH!!! Thankfully, I have gotten a little better recently. 🙂

  2. Guess what Janet! I STILL do stuff like that from time to time so please don’t feel bad 🙂 It sure helps to have a good sense of humor about it like you do!

  3. The salt coupon you used is for SEA salt not the regular Morton Salt. The sea salt is an entirely different product from the regular salt sold at Walgreens and is usually more expensive than the stardard Morton salt.
