Cooked carrots are one of my absolute favorite side dishes, when they’re done right! This recipe for Honey and Brown Sugar Glazed Slow Cooker Carrots is super simple to prepare and they are SO delicious. We like to make a big huge batch in hopes of having leftovers.
All you need are a few simple ingredients – baby carrots, honey, brown sugar, sea salt and some baby dill for a garnish if you’d like.
Cut a half a stick of butter into six or eight slices.
Pour water into the slow cooker then add the carrots, butter, brown sugar, honey and sea salt to your slow cooker.
Use the high setting on your slow cooker and cook for 4 hours, remove the lid and stir the carrots, then replace the lid and cook for an additional 1-2 hours. Transfer the glazed carrots to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh chopped dill.
- ¼ cup water
- 2 pound bag baby carrots - rinsed

- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 Tablespoons honey
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- Chopped dill - for garnish
- Pour the water into the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the carrots, butter, brown sugar, honey and salt.
- Place lid on top and cook on HIGH for 4 hours.
- Remove lid to the crockpot and stir carrots. Place lid back on and cook for an additional 1-2 hours.

I love carrots that are honey glazed, but haven’t tried making them in a slow cooker. What an awesome idea!
We always buy a big bag of baby carrots and sometimes can’t eat them all. This is a great way to reduce waste and have a delicious result at the same time!
Yaaasss! This is what I need in my life right now. I love simple slow cooker recipes. Thank you.
