This simple egg drop soup is both delicious and low calorie

Ingredients
  • 2 cans or 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1½ teaspoons ginger
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
Instructions
  1. Add the broth, water, soy sauce, garlic and ginger to a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Mix the cornstarch and three tablespoons water in a small bowl, whisk into the broth mixture and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened slightly.
  3. Stir the soup in a circular motion and begin slowly pouring in the eggs in a steady stream.
