Hilarious Gift Ideas for Co-Workers & Office Parties

Our annual office holiday party is always a riot and we all enjoy participating in a “Dirty Santa” gift exchange where everyone brings a wrapped gift (usually a max of $20), we draw numbers to see who gets to pick first and the next people in line can either “steal” an already opened gift (up to twice per gift or it might never end) or choose another wrapped gift. It’s hilarious when everyone wants to steal the same gift and super fun to see what everyone brings. Sometimes it’s pretty obvious when people are re-gifting something they’d really like to get rid of and there are always the usual gift cards and alchohol gift sets, but the best ones are the funny but useful gifts that everyone wants to fight over so I pulled together this list of my favorite amusing gift ideas for co-workers and office parties.

Share a Cup & a Story With a Veteran

My dad is retired Air Force so my family moved around a lot when we were kids – from base to base or to the next duty station. It was hard to move every couple of years but it was also good for us in a lot of ways.  It helped us learn to make friends quickly and to acclimate to different environments and cultures. Three of my siblings have also served in the military (one brother in the Air Force, one in the Navy and my sister served in the Army Reserves) and I currently work for the Navy on one of our local bases and absolutely love my job.
