A few years ago I was experiencing aches and pains in my head and mouth that would travel from one side of my face to the other. It turns out that I had developed Bruxism, where I would grind my teeth while I slept and it was causing all sorts of pain and sensitivity. The dentist told me to sleep with a mouth guard and between that and reducing my stress level I don’t have those phantom pains anymore.
I’m so happy to have found a solution to my issue but it has left me with sensitive teeth and a concern about how much the grinding has affected my tooth enamel. Sadly, your body does not produce more tooth enamel once it is destroyed and I worry that my sensitivity to hot foods and liquids will only get worse with time.
When I heard about the new Colgate Enamel Health toothpaste and how it can help strengthen your tooth enamel I had to give it a try. I was thrilled that its available in a sensitivity relief formula and my mother really wanted to try the Enamel Health Whitening so I bought us each a tube to try out. We both agreed that the toothpaste tastes great and we both remarked that it leaves our teeth feeling great, like they’ve been polished. I will report back in a few weeks and let you know if we’ve noticed any change in my sensitivity and her whitening.
This Saturday, November 15, 2014, Walgreens will host a Saturdate® event featuring the new Colgate® Enamel Health™ Toothpaste, including complimentary samples and an employee to educate shoppers about the new product. I love when Walgreens hase these Saturdate® events for different products and I highly recommend that you hit the one this weekend if you’re out and about so you can try out Colgate Enamel Health.
