With five young kids in elementary school mornings at our house are always pretty hectic. Thankfully the kids get breakfast at school, but I have to run straight to work after waiting for the bus with them in the morning so breakfast can be difficult for me to manage. I just recently got to try out these Quaker Breakfast Shakes and they make breakfast on the run super easy for me.
These breakfast shakes are available in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla and the best part is that they’re very nutritious and include 8 grams of whole grains. I’ve tried both the chocolate and the strawberry and they’re delicious although I have to admit the chocolate is my favorite.
I kept these in the fridge at work so I didn’t even have to remember to take them with me. I just grab one in the morning on my way to my desk, shake it up, and I have the convenience of an easy breakfast with protein and fiber in one easy package. They’re perfect for anyone with an on-the-go lifestyle!
The shakes are 11.1 ounces each and are available in 4-packs at Walmart for about $5. That makes for an inexpensive breakfast in addition to being quick, convenient and nutritious and they’ll tide you over until lunch time.
