My 8/29 CVS Trip – $117.42 for $29.10 or 75% Off

Since I still had two of the $4/$20 CVS Purchase coupons left from BlogHer, and they expire at the end of the week, I made my husband go with me today and we each used one of the coupons and did the gas card deal.  I also had a $2/2 Shampoo, Conditioner or Styling products from the CVS coupon printer last week that went very well with this week’s sale.  We bought $117.42 worth of stuff for $29.10, or 75% off.   Here are the deals:

  1. You said you used your $4/20 blogher coupons. Did they beep at the store when you tried to use them?

  2. No – they didn’t beep that I recall, but they did come from a CVS coupon printer that was on display at BlogHer. Usually the qs are printed (at the store) with your ExtraBucks card number on them, but even though I scanned my card at BlogHer, and my mother scanned her card there also, all the qs printed with the same very long number – so she gave me hers to use too since they weren’t coded to match our individual cards and I’m a better shopper than she is :)

  3. Weird, mine beeped and they wouldn’t accept them. It had an Extra Card card # ending in **** on it so it wouldn’t scan without beeping.

  4. Well shoot! Is there a different store you can try? I don’t see why they wouldn’t just push it through – I’m sure corporate wouldn’t be happy to know that the promotional qs they gave out wouldn’t work :( The people are so cool at the store I go to that I really can’t tell you for certain that mine didn’t beep – if it did they would have just taken care of me.
