My 7/27 Publix Trip – $93.11 for $19.30 or 79% Off

My two five year old daughters went to Publix with me today and they were SO happy to get balloons and “drive” around in the car cart that I almost started to feel bad for not taking them with me more often.  Then the “I wants” started and I realized that once each summer is more than plenty 😉  I barely got out of there without an 18″ stuffed mouse for the cat and a set of princess plates!  I’m actually pretty amazed that I ended up with $93.11 worth of groceries for $19.30, or 79% off after coupons and the $14 RR I used to pay.  Here are the deals:

  1. You did awesome!! I can’t wait to get the pop tarts tomorrow!

  2. I can’t believe it – I bought six boxes of PopTarts two weeks ago and they’re almost all gone! I am SO hiding these 🙂

  3. LOL I had to with the 6 I bought the other day! Last time I bought the same amount and yup we were down to just 1 box!!! lol Kids and hubby!!!

  4. You’d think we never fed them right? Well this week they’re well hidden 😉

  5. Oops – didn’t answer your whole question 🙂 The meat tastes just as good or better than regular ‘store bought’ and I really dig knowing that there aren’t any extra additives or hormones. Because it comes in a big bulk pack you will need to break it down into freezer bags for storage, but that doesn’t take long and is well worth it! Here’s a link for the fajita marinade, we use it on beef and chicken – http://bit.ly/nkA5uX

  6. LOL, exactly!

Thank you for the link to the recipe! And OOh yes I like knowing that too!
