  1. Any tips on how to save over 80%? I can never reach that goal, at the most its always 50% or lower, my last shopping trip I spent $40.00(got a lot of stuff for 40 dollars though) and Saved $16.00 (Only had one coupon, the rest of the savings was from Loyalty card) Trying to get better at being a Frugal Shopper, seems like most the items we purchase I never find coupons for, anyone ever have this issue? Great site by the way, I enjoy the tips and everything.

  4. I also have the issue of not “being able” to use coupons as much as others simply because I dont’ buy 90% of the products that the coupons are listed for. I didn’t grow up with brand names. You’re a kid and watch what mom buys etc,,, and this was in southern Spain. Don’t know if coupons exsited there but we sure never saw them or used them. Coming to the U.S. for vacation, you saw what your grandmother bought. So, there you go, that’s why I have stuck to DelMonte corn, tomatoes, etc… It was a huge leap to buy store brand products, and yes, with being single and having them the length of time that I did, the most important thing was “having” them in the kitchen to put into the dish lol. Can’t even remember if they tasted any different, olives for example. If they had “coupons” for vegetables that would be wonderful. Not because I buy tons of them but for me that would be handier.

  7. i love using coupons… whatever it takes to save up at the end of the day!

  8. I have been reading cutting my coupons, and printing them from the computer. However, where I live they do not double coupons. So there really is only so much I can save. Aside from waiting for items to go on-sale, or using a competitors coupon with a manufactours, is there anything else I can do to increase savings?
