My 1/10 Walgreens Trip – $119.86 for $10.54 or 91% Off

I’m really trying to keep the spending to a bare minimum this month because I’m participating in the Clean Out Your Cupboards Challenge and I’m trying to shop from my own stockpile as much as possible, but I still plan to shop for the fabulous deals and these are the ones I couldn’t pass up today.  I spent $10.54 for $119.86 worth of products, or 91% off.  A whopping $9.02 of that was sales tax, which I wouldn’t have paid on the vitamins and medicines if I’d shopped in Florida instead of Alabama today.  Since I live practically on the state line I can choose which direction to go and for nine bucks I’m thinking I should have gone the other way ;)  It was still a great shop so I’ll quit griping!  Here are the deals:

  1. Sales tax is the worst!!!!! I’m tempted to drive to Oregon to avoid ours but since we’re in Seattle, it would have to be quite the shopping trip to make it worth it…haha

  2. Yeah – nine bucks wouldn’t cover your gas would it? We live in the woods and it’s a 40 minute trip no matter which direction we go (bangs head on table) so I’ll plan better next time :)

  3. Wow that’s some high taxes but you really got some great deals.

  4. Great trip, and great job resisting the temptation to shop too much!
