My 11/25 CVS Trip – $58.16 for $0.84 or 99% Off

Whoohoo – I talked my husband into letting me run into CVS on the way home from Thanksgiving dinner at nana’s while he waited in the car with the kids 🙂  I ran in for a quick trip and ended up with $58.16 worth of goodies for only 84 cents or 99% off.  I noticed while I was there that everybody in the store was either a couponer with a fistful of qs and a printout, or they were desperately trying to buy one item (milk, eggs, etc) while the rest of us held up the line.  Strangest thing happened to me though – I was hunting the Excedrin (which I forgot to put in the picture) and I dropped the coupons I was holding, I turned around to get them and some lady grabbed them and took off.  Oh well, maybe she needed them more than I did, AND I just happened to have my spares on me (hey lady – I would have been happy to share!).  Here are the deals:

  1. Make sure you are thankful for your husband, because if I had asked that it would have been a no go with my husband after eating a great meal.

  2. You betcha – I AM thankful, but then you didn’t hear what he said when I asked about stopping at Wags too 😉

  3. If denise had not waited until 11:10 tonite to tell me to read this post I would have probably chased the coupon thief down the aisles. 🙂

  4. I am so glad you had extra coupons. I would have said something to her! I am thankful for my hubby too, he actually took me to CVS at 7 am and went in and shopped with me:)

  5. I dropped a $5 off $30 coupon at Target once. When I realized it, I hurried around to where I had been, but couldn’t find it. I ended up buying less than $30 because of the missing coupon. When I checked out, I groused to the cashier about the missing coupon, and she said, “Someone found this coupon and brought it up here.” It was my missing coupon!
