Final Numbers For October – Saved $574.81

We only got one freezer cooking day in during October or the final numbers might have been higher, still I’m very pleased that we only spent half of this month’s budget.  We spent a total of $250.78 to purchase $825.59 worth of groceries, toiletries and household items.  The freezer isn’t as stocked as I’d like it to be, and I’m hoping to squeeze in a couple freezer cooking days in November to fill it back up so I’m sure our numbers won’t be near this low next month.  According to the spreadsheet we’ve spent $3,285.36 so far this year and have saved $11,991.35.  That’s an average of $329 per month for our family of seven, or an amazing $47 per person!

  1. Hi:
I don’t keep track of savings, but I know I do not spend as much
on food as I use to. Couponing is so worth the time you spend
on the research and clipping and printing.
