It’s my favorite time of the week again! I love to see the deals that other frugal shoppers come up with and I’m excited about having a visual way that we can all share our deals and Show Off Our Shops! I don’t have a picture, however my main shopping is done at the Commissary, so anytime I can use coupons and get a good deal there is awesome. This week I had some coupons for $1/1pkg of granola bars – well the regular price of the chocolate coated granola bars at the commissary is $1.57, so I bought a few boxes for .57 each. WHOOHOO!!! I actually had 19 coupons I could use for a total savings of $20.54 or a savings of 14%. Considering the fact that commissary prices usually are excellent, the coupons make the deals super good. Oh, I had run out of milk (we use skim milk) and had to buy a gallon at Food World where the price was $5.11 for the gallon — went to the commissary and the price for the same Dairy Fresh gallon of skim milk was $2.40. UNREAL!!!
Didn’t have enough room to write in the caption but I shopped at Albertsons & Safeway. I spent $24.08 total and got back $6.50 in catalinas for Safeway. Saved $131.12 according to the receipts! I took advantage of the buy 4, save $4 promo at Safeway & the buy 10, save $5 at Albertsons. It was amazing
and my daughter begged to be in the picture…I asked her – “Where’s Waldo??” haha
